Kirsten Lakin

Account Manager / Partner

Kirsten Lakin started her bookkeeping career at the age of 15. She worked part time through college. Upon graduation, she accepted a full time Finance Controller position at a General Contracting company. There, she picked up the skill of juggling many tasks at once and maintains to this day the specialty of job costing among multiple companies. Kirsten started taking on her own clients in 2017 and has been enthralled with helping small businesses ever since. She works with any and all industries including Nonprofits, Health Care, Contractors, and more. She will jump at the opportunity to work with Woman/Minority owned businesses.

Melanie Martin-Plant, CGBP

Account Manager / Partner

Melanie Martin-Plant is a Certified Global Business Professional and Professional Public Bookkeeper. She obtained her certificate in bookkeeping from New England Business Educational Systems.  Melanie is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor/ Trainer. She has over 20 years of bookkeeping and consulting experience. She specializes in QuickBooks training, correcting accounting errors, and efficiency improvements.  Melanie works with various industries including Contractors, Nonprofits, Retail, and more.
